About Dr. Cox: Dr. Cox is one of the best known analysts of religion, culture, and politics in the USA. He is the Hollis Research Professor of Divinity at Harvard, where he has taught and researched since 1965. His first book, The Secular City, became an international bestseller and was selected by the University of Marburg, Germany as one of the most influential books on religion written in the twentieth century. His most recent book, The Future of Faith, will be published in September 2009 by HarperCollins. This new work presents a landmark interpretation of why Christian beliefs and dogma are giving way to new grassroots movements concerned primarily with issues of social justice and spiritual experience. Copies of this book will be available for purchase following the lecture.

This lecture is FREE and open to the public.  Parking is available in Parking Structure 2 at the kiosk at the Westholme entrance off Hilgard or Structure 3 at the kiosk on Wyton off Hilgard -- in each case for $11.
